Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).As a school-based COTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and assistthe districtOT.
• Develop and implement effective occupational therapy interventions to enhance students' participation in academic and extracurricular activities.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment for students with diverse needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to the development and review of students' educational plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Illinois.
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong munication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Dedication to promoting the well-being and development of students with diverse abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to special education and occupational therapy in Missouri.
