A school in the California, MD area is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the uping academic year. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and munication disorders, as well as developing appropriate treatment plans. They will also work with families and caregivers to train, municate, and educate them about managing munication disorders. The specific caseload will be determined later. The director is ready to review candidates' backgrounds and conduct interviews for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and treating munication disorders
• Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.

Experience:

• Previous experience in the SLP setting.
• Previous experience in school setting as SLP preferred

Education:

1. Must havea masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
2. Fully accredited (CCC) preferred
3. Must be in at least Clinical Fellowship Year
