Position: 1:1 Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Location: Monterey, CA
School: Monterey Middle School

Role Highlights:

• Focus: Provide 1:1 support for a middle school student with a brain injury, adhering to established seizure protocols.
• Environment: Work in a self-contained classroom with no behavior issues.
• No Bus Riding: Your role will be based entirely within the school, starting at 7:45 AM daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer specialized medical care and support tailored to the student's specific needs.
• Implement and monitor seizure protocols to ensure the student's safety.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to seamlessly integrate care into the student's daily routine.
• Maintain detailed and accurate health records.
• Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.

Requirements:

• Valid California LVN license.
• Experience with brain injury care and seizure management is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
