Exciting Opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Mount Vernon, WA!

Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse passionate about making a difference in students' lives? We have an excellent full-time opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Mount Vernon, WA. This role provides a unique chance to work 1:1 with a student in need, starting August 29, 2024.

Position: 1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Mount Vernon, WA
Dates: August 29, 2024 - June 16, 2025
Hours: Full-Time, 7.5 hours per day
Bilingual: Spanish preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized healthcare services to a student on a 1:1 basis.
• Monitor the student throughout the school day and manage their health needs.
• Administer care, including performing routine health assessments and maintaining accurate health records.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure the students well-being.
• Manage the nurses' suite where medical attention is provided.
• Participate in meetings and professional development as needed.

Requirements:

• Active LPN licensure in Washington State.
• CPR certification.
• Recent TB test results (within the last year).
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish.
• Experience working with K-8 students and handling complex medical needs is a plus.
