Exciting Opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Penacook, NH!

Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse with a passion for working closely with students? We are excited to offer a full-time position for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Penacook, NH. This role provides a unique chance to work 1:1 with a student who has a severe heart condition and is DNR. We are conducting ongoing interviews and are eager to fill this position promptly.

Position: 1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Penacook, NH
Dates: August 26, 2024 - June 13, 2025
Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Bus Riding: May be required (still confirming)

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated healthcare services to one student with a severe heart condition who is DNR.
• Monitor the student throughout the school day and enact the emergency care plan when needed.
• Operate the nurses' suite, where students receive medical attention as required.
• Administer care and manage the student's health needs effectively.
• Perform routine health assessments and maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure the student's well-being.
• Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
• General nursing duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Active LPN licensure in the state of New Hampshire.
• CPR certification.
• TB test results within the last year.
• Experience working with K-8th grade students is preferred.
• Ability to manage basic nursing duties and care for students with complex health needs.
