Soliant Health and its affiliates are currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Twin Falls, ID. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing essential services to students, enabling them to achieve their full potential in educational settings. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the implementation of therapeutic interventions that support students' academic success.
- Monitor students' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and promote a collaborative approach to student support.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the Idaho Board of Occupational Therapy or eligibility for licensure in the state of Idaho.
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to address a variety of developmental and functional needs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
