Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated and skilled American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to support students with hearing impairments for a school-based position near Warren, Oregon. This full-time position is for the entire school year and involves working closely with students, teachers, and staff to facilitate effective communication and ensure an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ASL interpretation to a student during classroom instruction, school activities, and meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt lesson materials and ensure accessibility.
• Support studentin both academic and social settings to foster their full participation in school life.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Experience working as an ASL interpreter in an educational setting is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or equivalent is highly desirable.
