We are seeking a talented School-Based Social Worker to join our team in Maine. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the fort of your own home while making a difference in the lives of students in need. Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to students in a remote school setting, promoting their social-emotional well-being and academic success.
- Conduct prehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, needs, and barriers to learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop individualized intervention plans for students.
- Deliver counseling services, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution to students dealing with various challenges.
- Assist students and families in accessing munity resources and support services.
- Advocate for students' rights and act as a liaison between the school, families, and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Maine.
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of social work theories, practices, and ethics.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-motivation and time management skills.
- Proficient puter skills and familiarity with remote munication tools.
