Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Kettering, Ohio, responsible for providing exceptional educational services to around 16 students in a pull out time and push in support environment. This pay range is $45+/hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students based on assessment data and individual needs.
- Provide specially designed instruction in small group and individual settings, ensuring curriculum modifications and accommodations as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, school administrators, and parents to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly to ensure educational goals are met.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports and IEP updates.
- Utilize assistive technology and specialized materials to enhance student learning experiences.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Special Education preferred.
- Ohio Special Education Licensing.
- Experience working with in a pull out time and push in support environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with IEPS and the ability to develop and implement them effectively
