Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)

Location: Greenville, Ohio

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs for visually impaired students.
• Teach Braille, assistive technology, and orientation and mobility skills.
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents.
• Adapt curriculum materials for visually impaired students.
• Conduct assessments to monitor progress.
• Provide training and resources to staff and families.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education with certification in Visual Impairment.
• Valid Ohio teaching license with endorsement in visual impairment.
• Proficiency in Braille and assistive technology.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
