Job Description:
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Onsite, Monday- Friday
- 2024-2025 school year
- Details about caseload will be discussed in the interview
- K-12th grade (District Wide)
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on students' strengths, challenges, and developmental levels.
- Design and deliver instructional activities that target academic, communication, social, and life skills development.
- Use evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to support students with autism in achieving their educational objectives.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to student support.
- Utilize assistive technology and visual supports to enhance learning experiences and facilitate communication.
- Implement behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust teaching methods as needed to meet individualized goals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students
- New Hampshire licensure in Visual Education
