Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a qualified School Certified Nurse (CSN) for a full-time position in South Elgin, IL. The ideal candidate will provide prehensive health services to students and staff, ensuring a safe and healthy school environment. This position requires a Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Nurse (CSN) endorsement and a current CPR certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up for illness and injuries.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions or special needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) and maintain accurate health records.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure the well-being of students.
• Provide health education to students, staff, and families.
• Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• ply with all state and federal regulations regarding student health and safety.

Qualifications:

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse (CSN) endorsement required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
