Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team to provide remote therapy services to students across Virginia. As a Virtual SLP, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality speech and language therapy to support students' educational and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy services through a secure and user-friendly teletherapy platform.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Virginia.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
