Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist for a full-time role with school districts in the Archbold, OHarea. We are actively interviewing candidates who meet all local and state requirements.
Requirements:- Education: Must possess a Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Certification: Validstate certification as a School Psychologist is required.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred, though new graduates with relevant practicum or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check as required by the state and local school districts.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote positive learning environments and effective teaching strategies.
- Support crisis intervention and provide guidance during emergency situations affecting students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
