Great opportunity for a Sr. Accounting Professional with Insurance industry experience and strong analytical skills seeking a company where they can have growth, flexibility and an excellent culture! Our Valued Client, a fast-growing Specialty Insurance Company, has partnered with Robert Half in search of a Sr. Accounting Analyst to join its team. This role comes with high levels of exposure to Sr. Leadership and a defined growth path throughout the organization. The Sr. Accounting Analyst will focus on general ledger accounting, financial reporting, analytics and financial close activities within one of the organization's fastest growing business segments.

The right candidate for this promising position will have 5+ years of related experience centered in accounting and financial reporting in addition to a BS Degree in Accounting. Experience within the Insurance industry or exposure to Insurance industry clients through public accounting is required. Solid understanding of GAAP and STAT reporting requirements is key.

- BA/BS in Accounting

- CPA/MBA a plus

- 5+ years of overall related accounting experience

- Insurance industry experience required, P& C exposure a plus

- Experience with financial reporting and analysis

- Statutory Accounting Principles experience required

- Advanced MS Excel skills required

- Excellent communication and relationship building skills needed
