Our client is in search of a Financial Analyst to join their team based in greater Hartford County, Connecticut. This role involves providing administrative services related to reinsurance operations and supporting third parties. It offers a long-term, hybrid contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Administer reinsurance operations effectively.

• Support third parties by preparing and providing necessary reinsurance data.

• Independently research, document, and maintain up-to-date reinsurance information.

• Reconcile reinsurance amounts to bank accounts accurately.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with other departments within the organization.

• Manage cash effectively and oversee settlement processes.

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Demonstrated expertise in Reconciling Accounts

• Experience in Reinsurance and Cash Management a plus

• Proven ability to resolve discrepancies in financial documents and reports

• Familiarity with settlement processes

• Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must have a keen attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
