Job Type:

• Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) or another required sign system and vice versa.
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers in various settings, including classrooms, assemblies, meetings, and extracurricular activities.
• Provide support to deaf or hard-of-hearing students to ensure they understand instructions, assignments, and educational content.
• This is a full time position, working with elementary school.
• Pay - $33-36/hr

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree focusing in American Sign Language preferred.
• Must have 3.2 EIPA and hold or able to apply for PEL for interpreters in Illinois
