Busy medical facility in Clark County Indiana is dedicated to providing quality care to our patients of all ages. We currently have an opening for a talented and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant to join our growing healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical medicine, preferable in Family Medicine and a passion for helping patients. Requirement:

• Courteous & honest & professional
• Able to communicate well with clinical staff
• Observes standards of medical care
• Train & evaluate assigned staff

Education:

• Degree from an accredited school
• Licensed holder to practice as an NP/PA in the state of Indiana
• Must hold DEA license and such certificates to legally operate as a NP/PA for the State of Indiana and must be willing to get an X-DEA number
• Prior experience preferred

Duties:

• Evaluate patients and provide appropriate medical treatment for various illnesses and injuries
• Responds to emergencies
• Documents all patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
• Evaluate effectiveness of current care methods and procedures and suggest improvements
• Supervise Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
• Prescribe, administer, and dispense medication in accordance with state and federal statutes
• Completion of all documentation in timely manner
• Assist Medical Director in identifying and resolving workplace issues
