Role Overview: Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

As a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in leading their assigned unit. Responsibilities include:

• Leadership & Supervision: Managing all supervisory duties for the unit, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Policy Development: Assisting in the establishment and implementation of employee policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment.
• Mentorship: Providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced nurses, offering clinical and career advice.
• Quality Care: Upholding and elevating the standards of care within the unit, ensuring each resident receives top-tier service.
• Resident Management: Reviewing resident records, monitoring overall care, and managing individual cases to ensure exceptional outcomes.
• Resident Relations: Addressing questions or concerns from residents and their families with empathy and professionalism.
• Advocacy: Representing the unit’s interests to upper-level management, ensuring the team has the necessary resources and support.

Qualifications Sought

• Licensed Professional: Must hold a valid State RN License.
• Relevant Experience: Preferably with 3 years in Long Term Care and 2 years in a Charge Nurse role.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills to navigate advanced healthcare systems.
• Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills to lead the team and engage with residents and families.
