Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs support and solution creation duties for hybrid workforce.
• Works with peers to define and implement standard configurations of hardware and software in a NIST 800-171 compliant environment.
• Responsible for setting up, and training users on various technologies, such as but not limited to NIST standards, standard office software/SaaS solutions.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to be used to enhance employee’s experience.
• Interact with peers at local and remote locations to develop solutions.
• Maintain IT policies and procedures.
• Responsible for completing projects in a timely and effective manner.

Education / Experience Required:

• Degree in Information Technology or similar field and 5 years of experience.
• Ability to build/support desktop, laptop, mobile, VM, and server technology
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with migrations and acquisition a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills, independently research and resolve issues
• Knowledge of cyber security best practices
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Entra/Teams/SharePoint/Defender)
• Knowledge of Storage technology
• Knowledge of MDM tools and configuration (Intune a plus)
• US citizenship required.
• After hours support will be required on an as-needed basis.

Preferred:

• Certification (MCP, CompTIA A+, Security +, Network+, Linux, etc.)
• Knowledge of IT automation and scripting
• Knowledge of CMMC, ISO 270001, or NIST 800-171
• Advanced knowledge of cyber security best practices
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Knowledge of VMware/AVD
• Knowledge of backup solutions
• Knowledge of network concepts (vlan, vpn, wireless, etc.)
