Job Summary: Under the direction of surgeon and/or nurse performs a variety of duties in the operating/procedure room area to assist the surgical team in surgery. This includes assisting during surgery and scrubbing on all types of surgical procedures, preparing surgical instruments and equipment, maintains a clean and safe surgical environment. Assignments are frequently preformed under stressful conditions. Serves as a resource to the other team members for activities within the scope. Perform activities related to materials management.
Education and Experience:
- Experience in an operating room working as a R.N.
- Graduate of accredited nursing program with current state license.
- Established principles of aseptic technique, universal precautions, safety and emergency procedures

- Work requires the ability to demonstrate expertise with surgical instruments/equipment/supplies/ established principles of aseptic technique universal precautions, and safety and emergency procedures
