Diesselhorst Sports and Orthopedics is seeking a motivated and driven Orthopedic Medical Assistant to join our high energy and fast-paced clinic. As a part of our team, you will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep our clinic running smoothly.

Job Description:

• Greet patients and escort them to their exam room.
• Document patient information correctly and accurately in the Electronic Medical Record
• Assist providers with injections and other in-clinic procedures
• Cast, splint, brace and remove sutures
• Work incoming referrals and schedule patients
• Effectively communicate with patients, family members and staff
• Return patient phone calls in a timely manner
• Comply with healthcare standards and regulations
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
• Willing to travel to our remote clinic in Kingfisher 2+ times a month

Qualifications and Skills:

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred
• 1 year experience as an Orthopedic Medical Assistant preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• The ability to work on your feet for 8 hours a day
• Strong communication and professional skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently in a high-paced working environment
• Reliable transportation
• Maintain a professional and polished appearance
