Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) within the Property Management Industry to lead our financial operations and strategy. The CFO will play a pivotal role in guiding the company's financial performance, ensuring sustainable growth and supporting strategic decision-making. This position reports directly to the CEO and will be instrumental in shaping the financial future of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities to provide insights and support decision-making processes
• Implement effective risk management strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Optimize the company's capital structure and manage liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and presentations for management, investors, and stakeholders
• Lead tax planning initiatives and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations
• Serve as a key point of contact for investors, analysts, and financial institutions, fostering positive relationships and transparency
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities
• Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and other strategic opportunities
• Drive efficiency and effectiveness across financial operations, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required MBA or CPA preferred
• Proven track record of 10+ years in Financial Leadership roles within the Property Management industry A MUST
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
• Highly analytical with a strong ability to be a Strategic Business Partner to CEO
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• High ethical standards and a commitment to transparency and compliance
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Advanced MS Excel and ERP Financial software required; Yardi software proficiency a plus
