Part time 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Primary Responsibilities:
-Works within the California MA Scope of Practice to perform patient intake process
(vital signs, history)
-Assists the providers with procedures
-Maintains clinical logs (temperature logs)
-Submits electronic referrals for additional services
-Enrolls / responds to electronic patient messages in the patient portal program
-Makes/Takes patient calls
-Patient scheduling
-Flexible to work front and back office
Required Qualifications:
-High school graduate or GED
-Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
-Current BLS card for healthcare providers or willing to obtain
Preferred Qualifications:
-EMR experience
-Experience in Out Patient medical office
-Bilingual Spanish
compensation: $21/hr
employment type: part-time with an opportunity to progress to full-time
