Vital Life Wellness Center is a premier wellness family practice clinic in the San Antonio area that practices functional medicine. VLWC has been open and operated since 2007. Our dedicated professionals find the root cause of the problem instead of masking the symptoms with medication.

Work Schedule - 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (rotating Saturday's) 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Check-in/check-out patients daily
• Schedule appointments (i.e. follow-ups, wellness, pellet procedure, etc.)
• Route messages to staff appropriately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
• Import documents through EMR system (i.e. consents, new patient paperwork, etc.)
• Update Patient Demographics
• Verify insurance two days in advance
• Collect payments (i.e. copays, deductibles, previous balances, procedure patients, etc.)
• Post payments via credit card, checks, and or cash Payment and POS system
• Reconcile daily batch at end of day
• Inventory supplement count daily
• Responsible for daily batch bag and petty cash
• Guide clients and vendors to the appropriate team member
• Must learn and gain interest in the products and ancillary services promoted
• Assist in the promotion of products and services offered by VLWC

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Six month to 1-year medical front office experience is a must
• Medical knowledge
• White Glove Customer service
• Cash handling
• Critical Thinker
• Multitasker
