Controls Tech | near Plainfield, IN | 3rd Shift | up to $44/hour

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a manufacturer near the Plainfield, IN area that is looking to hire on a Controls Technician for 3rd shift! We're looking for candidates with electrical maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry, who have knowledge of PLC systems and robotic equipment. Please read more information below. 

DIRECT HIRE

LOCATION: near Plainfield, IN - SW side of Indianapolis

PAY: $40-$44/hour + increases over time.

SHIFT: 3rd shift (5P-5A, 2-2-3 schedule).

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, edit, and program PLCs throughout the plant. 
• Repair electrical breakdowns, working with voltages up to 480V and 3-phase motors. 
• Build and program HMIs from scratch, aiming to build out buttons, update switches, and update interface. 
• Write and edit programs for robotic equipment. 
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace parts for non-labelled control panels, based on electrical diagrams. 
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to handle troubleshooting activities, spending >80% of their time on the production floor. 

Requirements:

• 3+ years of controls experience for the manufacturing industry. 
• MUST HAVE the ability to program PLCs from scratch!
• Experience programming, troubleshooting, and repairing HMIs and camera/vision systems. 
• Experience troubleshooting & repairing robotic systems.
