Location: Peoria, IL

Start date: July 29, 2024
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Work set up: Hybrid (3-5 days a week in office)
Typical task breakdown:
• Worker’s main task will be to work in the Facility and Process Maintenance space to write contracts and clean up the backlog to get them completed and signed.
• Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.
• Approve purchase orders, guided buy projects, SIA requests.
• Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
Education & Experience Required:
• H.S. Diploma w/ 10+ years’ experience.
• Associate’s degree w/ 8+ years’ experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is the preference w/ 5+ years’ experience.
Technical Skills
Required:
• Ability to follow through and complete projects.
• Previous Purchasing experience is required.
• Proofreading.
• Business acumen.
Desired:
• Previous Caterpillar experience is highly desired.
