We are seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team! You will provide healthcare services, under the supervision of a physician.

Responsibilities:

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRI scans, and blood tests
• Assess patients' musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and pain levels
• Develop treatment plans in consultation with the supervising Orthopedic Surgeon
• Prescribe medications, physical therapy, and other non-surgical treatments
• Educate patients on their conditions and treatment options
• Educate patients on post-operative care, rehabilitation exercises, and pain management
• Conduct preoperative assessments and ensure patients are prepared for surgery
• Maintain detailed patient records, including medical histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Be willing to commute to any of outpatient facilities across the 5 boroughs

Qualifications:

• Experienced in evaluating the musculoskeletal system, treating pain management, and orthopedic surgery patients.
• Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records system, our practice is heavily integrated and uses PrognoCIS
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Physician Assistant (PA) License or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License
