Windom Area Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant (PA) to join our Specialty Clinic team. The APP will accurately diagnose and care for patients with musculoskeletal issues, including fractures, arthritis, osteoporosis, joint replacements, and other injuries and diseases. On a day-to-day basis, they will practice independently or with an orthopedic physician in-clinic. This position will treat both pediatric and adult patients and will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide care, assist with surgeons during surgical procedures and provide pre-operative and after-care. Must be a graduate of an accredited CNP or PA program with orthopedic patient care experience in a hospital or clinic. At least 1 year of experience in an orthopedic clinic and surgery preferred.

Windom Area Health (WAH) is an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Windom, MN. The hospital serves Windom, Mt. Lake and the surrounding areas. Windom Area Health provides specialty outreach services on a regular basis including cardiology, hematology/oncology, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pulmonology, urology and occupational/speech/physical therapies. Emergency room, laboratory and imaging services are also available 24 hours a day. Our mission is “Dedicated to Health”, which directs our decision making and services on a daily basis. We have a management agreement with Sanford Health and are owned by the City of Windom.
