A busy service company in the Caldwell area is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. This Payroll Administrator will get the opportunity to join a growing organization with a dynamic payroll team. This Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing biweekly payroll for the company and helping with some HR related functions too. The ideal Payroll Administrator will have prior experience with Paychex and have experience processing for 500+ employees. Responsibilities include:
• Administering payroll for United States employees across multiple states
• Preparing, verifying, and processing all employee payroll-related payments
• Identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies
• Maintaining payroll records in Paychex
• Participating in process improvement projects related to payroll administration
• Ensuring the processing and completion of all payroll data
• Processing Workers' Compensation forms and claims when needed

• Minimum of 5 years of experience processing payroll
• Proven experience managing payroll for over 500 employees
• Proficiency in using Paychex and Paychex Payroll software
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
