We are in search of a diligent Project Manager to join our team in the service industry, located in Richmond, Virginia. This role offers an employment opportunity where you will be primarily overseeing the implementation of a Sales Compensation module for Salesforce (SPIFF). Additionally, you will also be coordinating with internal customers such as IT, Finance & Accounting Sales to ensure a smooth and timely integration.
Responsibilities: • Oversee the implementation of the Salesforce Sales Compensation module • Collaborate with internal teams including IT, Finance & Accounting Sales for successful integration • Monitor project progress, anticipate and address potential issues • Utilize project management software, preference for Microsoft Project • Apply understanding of accounting principles to assess project impact • Ensure adherence to best practices throughout the project lifecycle • Leverage strong communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional partners • Utilize SQL and data warehousing skills to manage and analyze project data • Manage the project budget processes efficiently • Lead cross-functional project management initiatives.• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Project Management role within the Service industry
• Proven proficiency in Budget Processes and Formal Project Management
• Strong skills in Salesforce Implementations and Salesforce Integration
• Experience in Cross Functional Project Management and Cross-Functional Partnerships
• Demonstrated ability in Project Management and Cross-functional integration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL
• Experience in Data Warehousing and Integration planning
• Knowledge of Best Practices in the Service industry
