Job Description:

VocoVision is seeking a compassionate and experienced Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide remote educational services to K-12 students in Alabama. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you will deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive a quality education in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual instruction and support to K-12 students with special education needs across Alabama.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
• Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to accommodate various learning styles and needs.
• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress, assessments, and instructional activities.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Special Education Teacher in Alabama.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher; experience with virtual teaching preferred.
• Proficiency with virtual teaching tools and platforms.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt instruction to a remote learning environment.
