ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming 2024-25 school year in Willis, TX. As an SLP with ProCare Therapy, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students, helping them achieve their communication and academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the speech and language needs of students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
- Offer guidance and training to teachers and staff on speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Currentstate licensure or the ability to obtain licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.
