Beacon Hill Staffing is looking for a contract to hire Bilingual Medical Assistant for our client in the St. Louis area. This role will be onsite for the first 90 days in the downtown St. Louis area, but will be 100% remote after. The role is paying up to $19/hr. If interested, please apply.

Position summary: Responsible for completing the patient registration process by patients collecting demographic information, determining appropriate fees and collection of payment.

Education: Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant Program.

Experience:

Two (2) years of experience in a health care setting or related field.

Two (2) years of experience in customer service.

Skills and Abilities

• Fluent in Spanish
• Good computer skills including the use of word processing and e-mail software. A test will be given.
• Knowledge of Third Party Reimbursement required.
• Ability to accurately register and interview clients.
• Ability to read and interpret materials.
• Ability to use initiative be detail oriented, and flexible.
• Good oral and written communication, customer service, organizational and mathematical skills.
