We are in search of a Fractional CFO to join our team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. As part of a recognized Professional Association, this role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The Fractional CFO will be instrumental in overseeing our financial operations, formulating financial strategies, and maintaining the financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute financial strategies to support the organization's objectives
• Present financial performance reports, projections, and other relevant data to management
• Prepare monthly financial budgeting reports, including profit and loss by division, and forecast vs. budget by division
• Implement and ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures
• Coordinate and strategize the organization's fundraising and revenue generation plans
• Maintain a strong relationship with external auditors and manage audit process
• Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements
• Ensure the accuracy of financial and management reporting data for the organization’s board of directors
• Coordinate annual budget reviews, monthly forecasting, and weekly cash flow reports
• Review and ensure the application of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a CFO or similar leadership role in finance
• Expertise in financial reporting and budgeting
• Proficiency in working with Form 1099 and Tax - Form 990
• Experience in preparing Annual Audited Financial Statements
• Familiarity with Audit PBC lists
• Knowledge of Property Tax and NAV - Net Asset Value
• Ability to maintain fixed assets and perform bank reconciliations
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve company goals
• Professional Association industry experience is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, CPA also required.
