Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group is seeking a SCOM Administrator to ensure technology is running as designed. As the SCOM Administrator, you will identify, log, and resolve any issues. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot hardware/software errors on servers, network devices & mainframes
• Monitor system health, diagnose problems & escalate as needed
• Install & test communication equipment, and train staff on network systems
• Provide advanced network support & resolve connectivity issues
• Implement changes, participate in disaster recovery, and support various projects

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or education/training in an IT-related field
• 5 years’ experience with system center operations manager (SCOM 2012/19)
• Experience with authoring management packs
• Experience with dashboarding and alerting with SCOM
• Experience with working with PowerShell scripting
