We are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team in Somerset, New Jersey. As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for handling technical issues reported by customers, performing basic software diagnostics, and ensuring the quality of customer support resources. This role also requires effective communication between customer support and other departments.
Responsibilities:
• Handle technical issues reported by customers and internal teams
• Perform basic software diagnostics and troubleshooting tasks
• Ensure the quality and responsiveness of the customer support team and resources
• Facilitate effective communication between customer support and other departments
• Develop and propose new ideas for selling additional services
• Promote various service options to customers
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and systems
• Utilize knowledge of Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Customer Service for problem-solving
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action in response to changes
• Process customer applications efficiently and maintain accurate customer records.• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
• Experience with Citrix Technologies
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies
• Knowledge of Database Management
• Experience with Dell Technologies
• Proficiency in Active Directory
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies
• Understanding of Computer Hardware
