Job description:

We are seeking a skilled Triage and Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for triaging and managing bugs reported by partners for a media application that runs on smart TVs, set-top boxes, and similar devices. In addition, you will play a key role in executing automation using Python, bash scripts and Linux.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage bugs from partners related to a media application running on various platforms, including smart TVs and set-top boxes.

• Troubleshoot, prioritize, and assign issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt resolutions.

• Execute pre-written automation written in Python and bash scripts.

• Work within a Linux environment for both triaging and automation tasks.

• Provide detailed bug reports and technical documentation.

• Role requires you to work from Lab.

• Work closely with development teams on the partner bugs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Linux including experience with command-line tools and scripting.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

• Must have executed automation scripts in the past.

• Experience with media applications or smart TV platforms is a plus.

• Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools.

• Basic knowledge of Python and Bash is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
