Chicago, IL is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team!

About the Position:

• Part-time position (3 days per week)
• Serve students in grades K-8 across multiple schools within the district (specific schools to be determined)
• 24/25 school year contract

Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support to students through individual and group counseling.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to identify and address student needs.
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to promote student success.
• Connect students and families with community resources.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or eligibility for licensure in Illinois
• Experience working with school-aged children (K-8) preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of child development and mental health
