A client of ours is looking for a Controller for a contract role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial consolidations, proficiency with Hyperion HFM and S/4 Hana, and a must experience in the manufacturing industry. Experience with OneStream is a plus.

Responsibilities of Controller 

• Oversee and manage the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities.
• Utilize Hyperion HFM to perform financial consolidations, reporting, and analysis.
• Leverage S/4 Hana for financial data management and integration.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with various departments to gather, analyze, and report financial data.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications of Controller

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Controller; previous corporate controller with manufacturing experience (5+ years) in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with Hyperion HFM and SAP S/4 Hana.
• Experience with OneStream is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation processes and GAAP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
