- Client is Seeking a versatile and experienced Scrum Master and Technical Product Owner (TPO).
- This role combines responsibilities of facilitating Agile processes with Scrum and acting as a technical product owner for Java-based projects.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, at least high level knowledge in Java, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
- This role is critical in ensuring efficient project delivery while aligning technical and business objectives.
As Scrum Master:
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Ensure that Agile principles and practices are followed.
- Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team's progress. Work to remove any blockers and ensure smooth workflow.
- Help the team maintain focus on sprint goals. Track sprint progress, manage sprint backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of sprint deliverables.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, promoting best practices, and facilitating process enhancements.
As Technical Product Owner (TPO):
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, product managers, and business analysts, to gather and refine requirements for Java-based projects.
- Ensure that requirements are clearly defined and aligned with business goals.
- Develop, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.
- Create and manage user stories, ensuring they are actionable and meet acceptance criteria.
- Provide technical input and guidance on Java-related development with the help of Java Development Lead.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements.
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap.
- Ensure that the development team understands the product goals and objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on product progress, gather feedback, and adjust priorities as needed.
- Review and validate completed work against acceptance criteria.
- Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and address any issues or defects.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a Scrum Master or Product Owner role.
- Proven experience in Agile environments, with Jira.
- Experience in technical product ownership and requirement management.
- Extensive experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies. Ability to coach teams on Agile principles and facilitate Agile ceremonies effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and deploying Java applications in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code.
