We are searching for an Onsite IT Manager to augment our growth and ensure our patients receive easy, efficient care.
Position Summary
Location: Vero Beach, FL
Schedule: Onsite Vero Beach, FL. Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Relocation Assistance Available
IT Managers help our physicians manage their technology, support our employees, and respond to day-to-day infrastructure needs. Working within a large medical environment provides an experience of learning and managing enterprise class systems. Onsite IT Managers are solution-oriented individuals that provide technical support to users efficiently and accurately. They primarily focus on infrastructure upgrades and assisting executives with short- and long-term IT needs. Additionally, their presence onsite ensures the general staff feel supported no matter what. IT Managers are considered the face of Vero Orthopaedics IT support team who work to elevate our team, solving their technical problems through creative solutions.
Functions of Onsite IT Managers
- Handle support tickets and work to resolve client issues within SLA times
- Work with C-Suite, Service Delivery Manager, and Team Lead to provide top quality service
- Work on a variety of infrastructure and general projects to improve quality of life for end users
- Create tickets, document detailed notes, and accurately tracking time
- Update technical documentation in system
- Own and work email tickets when not answering calls or when requested
- Escalate requests or tickets to Technical Team Lead/vCIO with detailed notes of attempted remediations and recommended solutions
- Train/Mentor and Assist Team Members as the SME Vero Ortho IT
- Identify possible Major Incidents and notify vCIO/Service Delivery Manager immediately
- Find alternative workarounds to problems when established procedures fail
- Train users in supported software & hardware
- Assist clients with the installation of business line software and related services for infrastructure or end-user
- Vendor management for client related support ticket resolution
- Ensuring all cases are followed up on in a timely manner
- Provide timely updates to C-Suite
- Assist Professional Services Team and vCIO to test new environment configurations
Technical Skills Required
This role requires advanced practical experience managing all aspect of client infrastructure
- NextGen experience preferred
- Ability to solve problems without specific instructional guidance
- Observe daily activities to learn overall IT Infrastructure, methods, and industry standards
- Assist with the installation of business line software and related services
- Train users in supported software & hardware
- Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with Equipment & software
- Ability to explain technical information in understandable terms
- Intermediate to advanced experience supporting/troubleshooting:
- Workstation hardware
- Windows/Mac OS
- Mobile devices
- MFA
- Desk phones and headsets
- Printers/Scanners
- SharePoint/OneDrive/365
- Active Directory
- DNS
- DHCP
- NTFS/File permissions
- Firewall/Networking/VPN
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and technology used to provide client services
- Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service ticket details
- Technical Writing and Documenting
Education/Experience Qualifications - High School Diploma/GED required.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco, Microsoft Certifications or other comparable Microsoft/Network certificates
- At least 4-6 years in a previous relevant advanced role, required.
- Prior MSP or Healthcare experience required
- ConnectWise experience preferred
- Experience supporting medical clients, EMR, and HIPAA understanding preferred
