Texas Allergy and Breathing Centers are seeking a Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant for our clinic in Mesquite, TX. We are seeking experienced bilingual candidates with great personalities.
- Spanish (Required)
- Experience with allergy testing (Preferred)
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
- Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Utilizes and enters data in EMR systems (eCW preferred)
- Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles, and issue receipts
- Manage cashier box and daily deposits according to company policies
- Process walk-in patients and visitors
- Answer phones, providing pertinent information and assisting patients with appointments
- Checking schedules and organizing patient flow.
- Ensure all correspondence is scanned and filed in a timely manner
- Process requests for medical records release and maintain appropriate logs
- Greets and screen all patients, vendors and visitors before they enter the clinic, including taking the person’s temperature and reviewing and documenting the COVID19 screening questions.
- Manages 20 minute wait time and Check-in/out patients.
