Texas Allergy and Breathing Centers are seeking a Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant for our clinic in Mesquite, TX. We are seeking experienced bilingual candidates with great personalities.

• Spanish (Required)
• Experience with allergy testing (Preferred)
• High school or equivalent (preferred)
• Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Utilizes and enters data in EMR systems (eCW preferred)
• Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles, and issue receipts
• Manage cashier box and daily deposits according to company policies
• Process walk-in patients and visitors
• Answer phones, providing pertinent information and assisting patients with appointments
• Checking schedules and organizing patient flow.
• Ensure all correspondence is scanned and filed in a timely manner
• Process requests for medical records release and maintain appropriate logs
• Greets and screen all patients, vendors and visitors before they enter the clinic, including taking the person’s temperature and reviewing and documenting the COVID19 screening questions.
• Manages 20 minute wait time and Check-in/out patients.
