We are looking for an exceptional, ethical and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our amazing team. This individual will be working in a fast-paced environment with an outstanding doctor and medical staff. This individual must be trustworthy, a team player and provide quality patient care. Having a MA certification and experience is preferred but not required. Bilingual abilities are a plus as well. 

Job responsibilities are (but not limited to):

• Greet patients and assist patients/caregivers 

• Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to appointments 

• Check vision and dilate patients 

• Placing patients into exam rooms 

• Charting patients' information-past medical/surgical/family/social history 

• Assisting physician with injections in the eyes, ultrasounds of eyes, laser treatments of the eyes and scribing during examinations of patients 

• Taking diagnostic photos of patients on OCT and Optos machines 

• Injecting patients with fluorescein for fluorescein angiography diagnostic photos   

• Check out patients accordingly to the physician's instructions 

• Assist efficient flow of information between patients and medical staff 

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including flexibility, priority setting, problem solving, and willingness to learn and adapt

• Maintain highly positive attitude 

• Utilize time and complete tasks in a timely manner
