You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality.
- New Process Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new manufacturing processes, from concept to implementation, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to implement and maintain robust quality control measures within manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements, equipment optimization, and material usage efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, implementing manufacturing principles and methodologies to streamline processes and maximize productivity.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and production teams, supporting their professional development and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted production and minimize downtime.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with both support and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies into existing operations. Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successfully leading process optimization and improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams and levels of the organization.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
