Oral Surgery Receptionist Job Description

Sacramento OMS and Drs. Heise, Alpha, and Delgadillo are looking for 1 full-time receptionist to join our front office team! We are looking for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced surgery environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team environment.

Our fast-paced office requires someone who can successfully manage several tasks at once and still make the patient feel like they are at the center of your attention. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Greet patients in person and facilitate pre surgery or pre consult check-in
• Answering all incoming phone calls from patients, other dental offices, and Doctors
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate answers to questions about surgery, the doctors, the practice, and the process
• Attention to detail and ability to be organized to ensure all patient and practice records are maintained properly
• Strong understanding of Oral Surgery procedures, pre/post surgical care, and medication information
• Schedule patients according to office standards
• Friendly personality and professionalism
• Execute patient payments
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the office
• Other administrative duties as necessary
