About the Role:

Passive Plus is looking for an Electronic Technician to be part of Passive Plus Technical Assistance department. We are looking for someone who has a good foundation of electronic theory, with familiarity in component level electronics.

Responsibilities:

• Measurement of electrical parameters for passive electronic components (Capacitors, Resistors, Inductors) using basic electronic instruments (Capacitance meter, Multimeter, Oscilloscope, etc.).
• Operation of specialized equipment (Coaxial Resonant Tube, RF Power Test Setup, Vector Network Analyzer, Temperature Chambers).
• Management and presentation of collected data to Engineering.
• Maintaining calibration/service records for instruments in the lab.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Electronic Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical training.
• Electronic Theory: Basic Circuit Theory, Series/Parallel Circuits, Resonance, basic operation and use of Capacitors/Resistors/Inductors
• Mechanical: familiarity with hand tools, soldering iron
• Desirable Qualifications
• Knowledge of RF concepts: Frequency Plots, Scattering Parameters, Smith Chart
• Knowledge of electrical design software: Sonnet, HFSS, Spice
• Software
  1. Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
  2. Drafting: AutoCad
