Position Overview:

KeRi Engineering PC is seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage our financial operations. As our Bookkeeper/Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of a company that's driving innovation in the engineering sector. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for numbers, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Payroll Processing: Manage payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees. Knowledge of ADP software is required.
• Budgeting & Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and financial reports. Quickbooks knowledge is required.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Vendor & Client Relations: Manage vendor payments, invoicing, and client billing, ensuring smooth financial operations.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing documents for external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
• Special Projects: Support the CFO and leadership team with financial projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in bookkeeping/accounting, preferably within the engineering, construction, or related industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
