Job Title: Podiatric Medical Assistant

Location: Hanover, Pennsylvania

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (25-35 hours per week)

About Us: Cherry Tree Foot & Ankle Specialists is a busy podiatric medical practice dedicated to providing exceptional foot and ankle care to our patients for over 20 years in the Hanover area.  We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Podiatric Medical Assistant to join our team and support our podiatrists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Take and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Assist podiatrist examinations and procedures during patient visits
• Take foot and ankle x-rays, perform ultrasound treatments and other modalities (will train)
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments and surgeries and managing patient records
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Podiatric Medical Assistant (PMA) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a podiatry or medical office setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
