Raven Defense is searching for a talented senior level Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate into our existing team to serve as the focal point for the team’s mechanical design, modeling, analysis, procurement, and assembly. Successful candidates will regularly interact with customers, work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to develop novel solutions to meet customer requirements and will serve as the subject matter expert in all things mechanical. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Physics
• 3-5 years’ experience in mechanical design and analysis
• Demonstrated experience in complex modeling and simulation (stress, strain, thermal, etc.)
• Proficiency in the use of an integrated mechanical design tool suite (i.e. SolidWorks, Autodesk, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications such as MS Word and Excel
• Must be able to work independently or with a team, handle the stress of multiple projects, changing schedules, and short suspense tasking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in system design and analysis relative to Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in DoD guidelines and standards, design reviews, security procedures, testing protocols, and administrative standards

Travel:

• Occasional travel, up to 15%, is required for this position. Travel will include customer and vendor visits in office/meeting environments as well as engineering support requirements which may include CONUS and OCONUS deployment aboard specialized RDT&E assets in support of customer requirements.

Citizenship and Clearance:

• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• Candidate must meet minimum eligibility requirements to obtain a US DoD Top Secret level security clearance.

Salary: $70,991.02 - $153,684.14 per year
